Richie's Barber Shop

I have never left a review on anything but here we go. They’re nice people but terrible at following instructions and they just kinda do their own thing even if it doesn’t fit you or what you asked for at all. I asked for a slight bit off the sides and they shaved it to the skin, and pretty much didnt do anything to the front even though that should have been the focus. I was facing the wall so i couldnt even see it during. Waaay too short, pretty much nothin else looked different

My review is not specific to Kenzie who cut my hair. The review is towards the false pricing on their website. Says $35 for a men’s haircut, and it’s actually $65 on site. I was already in the chair, and my glasses were off so I didn’t see the pricing until I was done. However, this is blatantly negligent, and the owner on site doesn’t seem to care that his website says a MUCH cheaper price. Intentionally deceptive, and you can be sure I will be reporting this establishment and putting this review everywhere I can. Very unfortunate.

Hard to find a LEGIT Barber! Carlie is incredible, highly recommended! Especially for a haircut + shave! Richie is the rare business owner that knows what he is doing! Look forward to coming back soon!

Definitely one of the best barber shops in Santa Barbara. They did a great job and I have consistently gotten great haircuts here. The shop is clean and well-organized, and I always walk out feeling confident. Prices are reasonable for the area as well.

Carly and Erin do a great job... And after all it's the haircut itself that counts! The shop is clean and up to date. Chairs are comfy, and location is very convenient on Coast Village Road. I especially enjoy the short machine shoulder massage at the end! Prices are a lot more than I have previously paid...$45. UPDATE 4/19/22: All the above is still true but I may have to stop going as the price, already a bit steep, jumped 20% to $55. With tip that's $65 for a haircut! Ouch!! Carly & Erin take Venmo. Richie does a great job too but only takes cash.
