Retro Ridge Barbers

Don't normally write reviews but I'm satisfied by unbeatable prices, atmosphere and haircuts and not to mention whenever I walk in, they're ready to service my son. Don't know what people are saying, I live down street and they are always there when business hours say. I could never leave this barbershop!! You can just see and feel the different from other haircutting places (which is why I tip the best) Hot towels are DEFINITELY a plus!

These folks have been cutting hair for a while on this side of town. The price of the haircuts go for about $23-$25 unlike Floyd's 99 barbers which you pay about $40-$45 and still doesn't look as good. I usually have John cut my hair when I come here and he always does an amazing job every time. But the biggest downside to Retro Ridge barbers is that going here is a hit or a miss. The business hours say open Tuesday to Friday 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturdays 8:30 am to 3pm and when I come here 4 times during business hours and nobody is there is kinda disappointing. People could have driven 2 hours or 30 minutes to get a haircut but couldn't because the owner left during business hours. My young men were apprehensive about trying a barbershop for the first time as opposed to a franchise haircut place, but I told them there's a difference for the cuts they get. They're sold now! Really cool atmosphere, very clean cuts that the boys were impressed with and can't beat the price! We will definitely be back again! ...and what's this barber's name and schedule? Want to book with him again shortly!

Great haircut place. John does a good job in cutting hair and takes his time to make sure you look fresh. Better than Floyd's 99 barbers 110%. Cash only or zele. Barber shop may be a lil out dated inside, but the hair cut is done by a professional. I needed a quick haircut and walked in and maybe waited about 35minutes for the 2 people in front of me but the wait was worth it because he took his time. Unlike some other barbers who just cut and your done. I just walked in but calling ahead is always a better option so you don't have to wait and you can plan to be there at your scheduled appointment.

They've lost me. Used them for the past couple of years. Always like the haircuts. Tried many times in the last 2 weeks and they're never open. Went there today at 10:30 am Door locked even though OPEN sign was lit and the sign on the door said Open. The sign says the hours start at 9 am. Never found them open at 9 in the last 2 years. The owner John must be independently wealthy because he never opens the business.
