While the massage itself was okay, there were a few major issues that made the experience far from relaxing. First, the place was extremely noisy. They had the windows open, and since it’s located right next to a gas station, I could hear traffic and outside noise the entire time. Most massage places I’ve been to have proper soundproofing and air conditioning to maintain a calm environment—this one did not. Second, the massage therapist used lotion instead of oil. It wasn’t smooth or soothing; she used very little, which made it feel dry and uncomfortable. Every massage I’ve had before used oil, so this was definitely unexpected and not pleasant. Went to a chiropractor appointment nearby and saw Rejuvenate Spa while waiting at the light. I work out often and my upper back and traps are usually feeling tight, sore, and knotty. Chiropractor did not really help much as it was just a spinal back and neck adjustment. Decided to visit this spa a few days later. Peter did an amazing job at releasing all the muscle knots in by back. He worked hard during the entire hour. I was very glad to have found this place. I felt like a new person as my entire body was relieved of my knots. I will definitely be coming back monthly for sessions. I highly recommend this place for anybody that works out a lot and gets muscle knots that needs deep tissue massages.

Went to their spa yesterday (July 2021) and had the absolute worst experience ever with getting a massage. Although the staff is pleasant, they do not listen. When I arrived, I informed the receptionist that I wanted a relaxation style massage NOT A DEEP TISSUE and I selected the two-hands for 60 minutes. Again, I asked would they be able to be relaxing because I was extremely sore. The two ladies arrived in the room and immediately starting kneading into my aching back. I told them no less than 5 times that they were too hard to no avail. I contemplated getting off the table during the times in which the aggressively massaged the tendons and nerves in my back, legs and feet. Been looking for a local deep tissue massage spot in Bay Ridge as I am working remotely and am not around the corner from my usual city spot. I have tried a couple of other Bay Ridge spots, both spas and chinese massage spots and although some of them were good, it wasn't the back/muscle/neck discomfort relief I was looking for. I googled Tui Na which was the style that was associated with the city spot (although it literally might just mean a hand massage). I called ahead to ensure they had an opening. Room I was placed in was like a full spa room. Massage was everything I looking for, strong and focused on getting the knots in my neck and shoulders. I think you could ask for a lighter touch if you needed but I was looking for more of a therapeutic massage. Everyone was very frie
