Toni Calhoun at Refuge Salon is wonderful. She always takes the time to really listen and understand what I’m looking for, and she nails it every time. She does an amazing job with color. I wanted a copper tone with highlights melted into the ends, and the blend turned out super natural and dimensional. She clearly knows what she’s doing and makes the whole experience easy and comfortable. For root touch-ups, she’s always able to match my existing color seamlessly. I would definitely recommend Toni if you’re looking for someone you can trust with color.

Refuge salon is the best! I have known Stacy for 18 years and there is no one else I would trust with my hair. Her opinion is backed by her extensive knowledge and experience. She always goes above and beyond. It’s a great group of professional women.

Three years ago, my blonde hair started breaking and thinning out of nowhere. I was panicking and could not figure out what was going on. Stacy was recommended to me and I’m so glad I made that first appointment. My hair is healthier than it’s ever been. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t know what looks best on me, so I love that she always does and I’ve never left regretting letting her do what she does best. Not to mention she’s great company sitting in the chair for a couple hours. I’d recommend Stacy and Refuge to anyone who asked where they should go. The space is clean, well designed and everyone there is friendly and beautiful!

I absolutely love how cozy and welcoming Refuge is. Everybody there is so sweet and unique in their own ways bringing just what the salon needs to give it the right vibe. Toni is the cutest, and most talented little bean and I’m grateful SHE is the one putting her hands on my head, making me feel beautiful!
