I have so much anxiety over hair. Losing a hairstylist who knows you and knows your hair can be as devastating as a divorce. When my original stylist left to work with her husband in his booming construction business, I put off searching out a new stylist as long as I could (as you can tell by the horrendous before picture). Kayla at Reflections Spa and Salon - Little Rock was able to fit me in and did an absolutely phenomenal job! I was at ease from the moment I sat in her chair and I’m thrilled to have a new friend who can give me exactly what I want! Kayla is amazing! If you’re in search for a new stylist, check her out! I saw Kayla for a blonde balayage off of a recommendation. I have gotten balayages in the past, but it had been about 5 years. I have never been unhappy with a color service before, but I was quite unhappy with the results of this one- to me, the highlights appeared an unflattering shade and were uneven, some parts of it were a lot lighter than other parts. She said I did not need a toner, which I found odd. I also found it odd that the appointment lasted way less than 3.5 hours (which is how long a balayage normally takes on my long hair) and that she used only a few foils. Normally, there’s like 30 foils in my hair for a balayage since my hair is thick and long. I expressed that I did not like the balayage and they did offer to fix it, but said it would be a quick fix.
