I really hate to do this. I try to be a positive person and love leaving 5 star reviews, but I was so shocked and disappointed by my experience that I felt like I should share. I’d been seeing Jeanne (the salon owner) for about two years. I went in to have my hair done the week before my daughter’s wedding. I usually get highlights, but told Jeanne I’d prefer more blonde this time; and showed her a picture. She said what I wanted was something called a platinum card. I just assumed that meant heavier highlights. I should have gotten more clarification before she did it; that part is on me. But apparently a platinum card is just all over bleach. The picture I showed her still had some low lights and different depths to the hair, so all over bleach was not what I had asked for. Not only did

Sixty year old Chicago chick with long, color-damaged, brown hair and four inch grey roots walks into a salon. Owner consultation ensues regarding turning the look to overall-grey. All hands on deck opine committee-style. Determination is made that hair integrity will likely hold rigorous bleaching process in spite of decades' over-processing. Candid risk/reward discussion takes place. Chicago chick gives big, bright, green light. Six hours and lots of fun later, high fives abound. This was my first time visiting a new salon in 5 years. My typical stylist is taking time off to have her baby and recommended Ingrid to me. I was extremely pleased with her work. She even went in and added more highlights to the sides when the finished result wasn’t as light as we had expected! She is so professional and very talented. I am loving the blonde for summer- I highly recommend her!

I just had the BEST experience with Val and Jen at Reflect Hair salon! It's been so hard for me to find someone who can work with my fine hair. I came in with wilted stringy hair and came out with a brand new bouncy voluminous haircut. I felt like I had so much control over the end result. I was so nervous but Val reassured me every step of the way. Val is so professional and amazing at what she does! The salon itself has such a happy bright vibrant vibe to it. I can NOT wait to come back. I finally found my favorite salon! It's so conveniently located right in the middle of HHI and Bluffton next to Kelly's Tavern. The best hair salon!

Today was my first time in this salon. I needed my roots done, a partial highlight, lowlights, root-tap, cut & blowout..my hair was a mess. Immediately upon entering I was welcomed and then introduced to my stylist Natascia. She flashed the biggest smile and her energy was great. She took her time to understand me and I really appreciate that. You can tell when someone cares,when someone is listening or when you’re just a “time slot to be filled” and I never felt like that once today. Eme collaborated with Natascia to formulate a color suitable for me. Eme was so sweet and knowledgeable as well. I have some anxieties about my hair since having it severely damaged at a different salon a couple years ago and I felt comfortable enough to ask questions and they eased any worry I had.I could te
