Whatever happened to balance within the news? Bought the paper, which is used to enjoy reading, for the first time in a year. Could it be more extreme leftist? I dont believe it can. This is so biased. I just feel that articles should be balanced between democrat and republican journalists. That would be fair. None of that here. Gross. Also 6 dollars for what 10 sheets of newspaper. You are the reason press is going away.

Was supposed to pay balance only however was offered to renew for 6 months,also. Was going to cancel, except renewal also waved past balance. Asked why that was offered, was told that we were good customers and they would like to see us remain good customers. Well, they charged my card with past due and renewal amount. Needless to say, we cancelled completely. If I can't trust them to do what they say they will with charging my card, then what's the point? Been a customer since I carriedy own rout in 1970. Update: paper was not delivered today March 16th. Subscript runs out on the 23rd. Was told I wouldn't get a paper today when I called. Guess we don't get the full subscription when one chooses not to renew. I carried a route for you folks in 1970. I never treated any of my customers the

Very scammy practice. Going through my mail and I see a subscription notice that really looked like an invoice. I have never had a subscription to the Reading Eagle. Now I certainly never will. The subscription notice said "due upon receipt" and even had an account number. I called the billing dept and explained all this and they said it was a "promotional" mailing and proceeded to give me a sales pitch. I explained that I've never had an account and certainly do not want one. I wonder how many poor suckers they rope in with this dirty tactic.

I am so sick and tired of only certain High School sports being v featured in the Reading Eagle. Berks Cathlic, Wilson! There are other schools in Berks besides those two. Do you get a pay off or something? These other high scholl athletes play their hearts out just as hard as those kids! Come on broadened your scope and give these other kids a chance at some notoriety! Sick of seeing these pets!

Pay for a subscription to Stowe and you’re lucky to get a paper. I pay for a daily subscription and most weeks they deliver 3-5 papers at once. Who wants to read old news papers?
