RATS NEST

I went in to see Star for a cut and color. Initially i was supposed to have 2 appointments, one for the cut and one for the color. I had my cut done, I loved it, had high hopes for the color. when i went in for the color, i was there in the studio for about 7 hours, before the stylist said they were unable to finish the color that day, which i was understanding of and said id come in a few days later, and made a 3rd appointment to finish the color. i live an hour away so having to come back was an issue but again, i was super understanding and waited patiently for my next appointment. the color and pattern is done, and I’m initially in love , extremely happy with the end result. But it’s been less than a month since i had my hair done, I’ve only washed my hair about 2 times , in cold water

Literally cannot say enough nice things about Jenna and the whole vibe/team at Rats Nest. Incredibly gender affirming, hilarious and kind, thoughtful and detailed, and all around fun. It's so nice to be able to get the exact haircut I pictured in my head! No regrets!

absolutely love my hair stylist and everything they do to my hair! i've gotten my hair done for years by Star and have followed them from another salon because i only trust them with my head! i drive over an hour and a half from connecticut and every time i leave looking great even if it means sitting for 10+ hours. Star goes above and beyond to help me maintain my curls while still getting to enjoy fun vivid colors. they are warm, welcoming, and totally awesome🧡🧡

I had very pleasant time at Rat's Nest. I booked with Jennalee after hearing about her through word of mouth. I do not know the usual prices for hair cuts but I was charged $75 for a full wash, cut, and blow out. I paid $85 over Venmo. I highly recommend Jennalee as a hair stylist. I was impressed by the results and I felt so welcome in their friendly space. Will be going back.
