Customer Reviews
Really didn't want to go there... I have my own barber... 2 actually, but in the same shop. That way i can be next faster. My barbers were both on vacation and i needed a cut badly. I had an appointment where i had to look presentable. I went to this shop and I'm not going to lie, i was a lil worried plus while getting my cut, BUT I must say... The guy that cut my hair did a very good job. I left happy and relieved, lol. The price is also good. I know have an emergency spot.
i have never written a review in my life but once i had an appointment and was five minutes late because i live downtown and traveled all the way to harlem for a cut and they said i could no longer take my appointment. the barber in the front has the worst attitude. i only came because one of the barbers were real humble and didnt require appointments. he was surprisingly good and i only came to him and tipped him well every time. suddenly as im coming to get a cut from him they start requiring him to take appointments only. (mind you nobody is in his seat or waiting). ok cool, i make an appointment but still i cant even get seated because im 5 minutes late (early in the day) to a shop thats not ever packed? just weird business practices over all and does not feel like a welcoming place to
I am new to the area. I am always look for a Dominican barbershop anywhere I go/live since I know they are well known in the barbershop industry. I got a haircut and beard shape/trim by Jordman. I called and setup the appointment - day before and showed up 5 mins before the appointment and they took me right away. The service was quick and efficient (30mins) and exactly what I asked for (skin fade, natural beard shape up and trim). Price is fair, facility is small but in a great location. Typical Dominican barbershop with music, cool ambiance, and in/out service! I heard they are strict about their no show/late policy and I think that is great and fair for a business! I am definitely coming back again and making him my barber from now on.
Love my Barber name Jesus. Very professional establishment.
Barbershop full of extremely average barbers with the arrogance of seasoned pro’s. Just moved to East Harlem so was looking for a shop and a friend said they were okay so I decided to go to them since they are close. The first two times I got aggressively average haircuts, but the price was decent and it was convenient so decided to go back a third time. Mind you, the second time, I had to wait 5 minutes to get in the chair, which of course is not a big deal at all. However the third time I went (which was today) I walked in the shop at 2:01 and was told I would not be serviced because I was a minute late for my appointment at 2. I’m not sure if these people are stupid and just don’t understand the reason that many successful businesses have a grace period or they just don’t like money, b
