Rainbow Nails

New to the city, this nail salon was recommended. I believe now it was for the ambiance, because that part gets a star. Clean bathroom, clean washing area, clean stations. The waiting area is pretty cool too with little to no wait time without being serviced. Here's where we get two stars , because even though all of that matter- my living room has great ambiance too ijs. The two star reflect the quality of material and work. I got my nails done on new year eve and before the ball dropped 7 of 10 fingers with nail polish was stripped. This is gel. I went back on the 2nd and they repainted and guess what? 3 nails are stripped again. I'm not going back. One of the 2 stars are for the space, the other is for the massage chair during my pedicure. I went in to Rainbow Nail & Spa for the first time. After looking at the mixed reviews, i can honestly say that my personal experience was great. It’s a family atmosphere; yes it may not be your typical ‘bougie’ salon, but they had the tools they needed to do the job. I think folks should give this place a chance and be open minded with the process and if a situation occurs; mistakes happen and we cannot let it ruin our day. It’s best to work together to find a solution. I should have asked the price before i made the reservation so i had to deal with the total. I paid 43 for pedicure, and 35 for manicure. The lady did nudge for me to give a tip and i felt bad if i said no so i put in 5 bucks. She did try to sell me their other services in the beginning but i kindly declined. They’re just

I am still in disbelief in how awful my experience was here. I am now stuck with damaged nails because of them until i figure out another time to govthat i dont have my baby and dont have to work. This was also my first time out treating myself to a baby free visit to the salon since having my 10 month old. I asked for a manicure with ANC, no tips, just in my natural nails. I'm a mom who works 45-50 hours a week, and I do not have a maid or nanny (lol). My hands are rough right now. Dirty nails, hang nails...rough. the man filed my nails (barely), they aren't shaped, or even but I didn't care I was happy to be getting my nails done! Then he starts doing the ANC base. Doesn't soak my hands, doesn't clean up my cuticles, or remove the dirt from under my nails. Nothing. So I kindly ask about

Jenny is a true artist! I used to get my nails done here with my mom, who is no longer with us. I decided to go back to get my nails done for my sister’s wedding, and they are just as good as I remember them being. Jenny was so meticulous, and really spent a lot of time making sure all my nails were even and that they matched. I did have one nail pop off after 4 days, but I had jammed it, so it was my fault. I will absolutely be going back when I need my nails done again.

The service was phenomenal. My nail tech Lily did an amazing job. She was gentle and paid attention to my nails. She worked fast but also diligently. Even gave a nice hand massage with lotion and cuticle oil at the end. I would 100% recommended!
