I am soooooo crazy late on my review and I'm literally sitting in the salon RIGHT NOW waiting for Princess to finish my mom's hair so l'll make the best of this time! I can't say enough wonderful things about RAE Beauty Company. From the very first consultation I had with Rae back in the summer, I felt like I'd found a true gem. Rae (the owner) is both personable and professional. She truly knows her craft. When I first walked in, I was feeling down about my hair changes due to my health, and Rae didn't just give me a hair consultation, she gave me a safe space to vent and feel heard. It was like talking to a sister who just happened to be a hair expert. Rae was so thoughtful, giving me great advice on what would and wouldn't work for my hair in my situation, and suggesting alternatives

I’ve visited Rae Beauty Co on varying times, initially I received braids. The last service was a keratin smoothing treatment in Jan 2026. Rae did my keratin treatment and to this day I’m so happy and satisfied of the service. Prior to the treatment, I’d experienced some heat damage and dealt with a lot of frizz. After the service, my hair has been so manageable and healthier. Her business offers other great services also and my braids were done years ago, by another worker who did an awesome job also(sorry I forgot her name)!

I’ve visited Rae Beauty Co several times and have seen both Rae and Princess for different services, including haircuts, treatments, wash and style, and a sew-in installation. Every experience has been excellent, both in the quality of the work and the warm, professional service. The salon itself is beautiful: bright, airy, and welcoming. I also love that they offer coffee and water, which is such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend Rae Beauty Co for anyone looking for a consistently great salon experience.

Sima had her first Silk Press from natural 4C hair she was growing since birth. It was thoroughly detangled by mom before her appt. Rae (owner) took the care to make her feel safe and comfortable through the two hour process of wash, blow out, trim and style! It was a very gentle process on her skin even while high heat was used to silk press the hair. Sima loved taking pictures w shop dog Juice and want to return…🫶🏽 She loved having straight hair for a day but wants to go back to her Afro hair very soon. For mom, it was fun to see the process and the hair got a good trim to keep it healthy. Rae gave good advice on keeping it healthy going forward.
