Quisqueya Unisex Beauty Salon

First of all, i was completely overcharged and didn't even get what i wanted. I made them change my hair 3 times yet they still couldn't get it right. I showed them an inspiration picture which is attached below and my hair looks nothing like that even though they were convinced it did. The picture demonstrates a balayage with highlights almost and i got a straight balayage with an ugly honey color which is not what i showed nor what i asked for. Despite not getting my hair correct after 3 tries she still proceeded to overcharge me even after i told her it isn't what i asked for. While for the most part the workers were well mannered, I wouldn't recommend this place to absolutely anyone due to the fact that my hair looks horrendous. I was recommended to see Natty the owner and she did not disappoint. She was very professional, knowledgable, light handed and sweet. Dominican stylist have a bad reputation for chatting too much and over cutting but she was the opposite. I would highly recommend and will be going back.

I love coming to this place. Naty (the owner) always knows how to cut my hair and bring it back to life. She’s also amazing with the blow dryer. I have natural curly hair and when I want it straightened she’s the one I go to.

This very moment I am walking out of the Salon. I came in based on the work they did for someone else. Was referred to the Salon. When I walked in I was not greeted by anyone which is okay as it is a busy Sunday but I awkwardly stood there until someone said hello. That was about a good minute. A minute is a long time standing awkwardly looking around. Then I said “ Yes I am here for a blow out and flat iron” they say okay go over in that direction. I was like. Umm Ok. Lol. So I sit down for over an hour not 1 person said hey we will be with you in a minute. There was no eye contact ladies were literally avoiding speaking to me?
