Queen Nails

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel this experience should be shared. I came in for a regular service and simply asked the nail tech to file my nails a little more because the shape wasn’t even. I wasn’t rude, aggressive, or demanding…I just wanted them shaped the way I asked for. From the moment I made the request, her attitude shifted. She seemed irritated and acted as if my request was unreasonable. After asking her twice to even out the shape, she became visibly annoyed and after I paid, mind you with tip, she told me that I’m “picky,” so I “don’t have to come here anymore.” I was shocked because filing or adjusting shape is a normal part of getting your nails done, and I wasn’t asking for anything excessive. *Funny how the last two reviews are from the very same person.. employee much?* Very inconsiderate male staff. I arrived before a different client. WAITED my 24 minutes turn. I had acrylics. Had me soak for 39 minutes (never in my entire life have I had to soak for that long). Proceeds to do someone else’s toes (who JUST arrived.) I’m not sure if I’m wrong here but it felt not nice. I proceeded to say I won’t be getting my nails done he said “good”. So inconsiderate.

Took my 10 yr old daughter to get her nails done and a full set for me. The techs were patient and understanding with my daughter who was overwhelmed with all the choices of colors to choose from. Both are nails came out amazing. Great prices too.

The best and most consistent nail salon in Lawrence. Sam and the queen family have taken care of me for 17 years and never disappointed. I truly value their work and there dedication to their craft and our community.

The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because last time I came they were amazing. I came today and the lady files my nails down , mind you my real nails that I’m trying to grow. Now their paper thin on one hand !! I can feel the bending.My toes don’t match my nails and then I say to paint them and she mistook that for not wanting a manicure with it. They put a terrible glitter on. She kept rushing my hands in and out of gel machine. I will not be coming back since they can’t understand English!!! The reason I inquired about dip color was because I wanted a design. I didn’t want any fake acrylic over my nails or anything . Just manicure with paint / gel or dip with a design. I even told her when I was getting a pedicure that I had gel on. This is the worst nailPlace I’ve been to in 20 years.
