Pure Hair Studio

Tania Stapps is an excellent hairdresser with experience that is hard to find on the East Coast. She took her time and blended my hair color with great knowledge to work to the goal of the style I have chosen. I am so pleased. I strongly recommend her if you are looking for a great artist when it comes to hair.

I had a great experience the first time I came here when I saw Cady, but unfortunately she has since moved away. My most recent visit was the opposite. I called on 8/27 and spoke with Tonya, who scheduled me for 12:30 the next day. When I arrived, she told me she didn’t have time to color my hair and also didn’t have the color I needed in stock. She mentioned it was because I hadn’t sent her a picture of my hair — but a picture isn’t the same as seeing it in person. I had also told her word-for-word, “I’m gonna warn you, I have a lot of hair,” so it felt unfair to be told she didn’t know. Since she didn’t have time to color, I decided not to move forward with the haircut either. I have been going to Pure Hair studio since i moved to OKI 6 years ago! I ❤️❤️❤️ them and get so many compliments on my color and cut. Everyone there is wonderful and I have never been disappointed. I have also referred friends who have always been very happy...I can not begin to say enough kind words. When I moved here from MD, one of my major concerns was finding a salon that I felt comfortable with. I have had Kirby as my hairdresser the whole time. She is very punctual and never makes me feel rushed. She is very professional and even though I have been going to her for 6 years, we always have a short consult to make sure that I am happy with this and that. She is the best and all of her staff are very welcoming and I am very pleased every visit : ) Thank you to all at Pure 😘

I recently (about a year ago) started going to Pure Hair Studio after moving back home to Southport. I have had at least 10 exceptional experiences with the staff at Pure. Donna at the front desk is always respectful, courteous, and professional. Kirby has an amazing talent with hair and is always very eager to effectuate my wishes by using her creativity. The whole staff is customer service driven and strives to make sure every client is happy when they leave the studio. Additionally, everyone is knowledgeable with respect to the quality products they offer for purchase. I highly recommend a visit to Pure Hair Studio. FIVE STARS from this not so easy to please gal!

Pure is so fantastic. The atmosphere is incredible, the products they use are the best, and the incredible knowledge and passion for hair shines here. After moving away I grew my hair out waiting to come back and visit Kirby for a haircut. She nailed it! They truly get to know you and your hair.
