My son has autism and I took him to get a haircut and he was really freaked out by the trimmers. The Asian lady who was cutting someone else’s hair, started laughing at him and mimicking him DESPITE me have already told the lady cutting my son’s hair that he has autism and struggles with sensory stuff. The guy that she was cutting’s hair actually said to her “well he said he has autism so he struggles with sensory stuff”. I used to go to this place for my hair getting cut and I have refused to go back ever since

Love this place! Ani & Kaycee are awesome! Never rush, and they listen to your needs and what you want! Best prices around, too! As a senior on a fixed income it's a welcome relief! What a great little gem of a barbershop/salon hidden in the Michigan Ave Meijer in Jackson. I've had my last 3 haircuts here and all of them were fantastic. 100% recommend!!! I've gotten my last 2 haircuts there from Kaycee; both were perfect. Easy in, short waits, quick yet efficient and accurate haircuts just as I wanted it. Truth be told Kaycee has great skills! She was a bit conservative with my first cut but, she without hesitation took the sides and back of my hair tighter just like I like it to be. Selfishly, I wanted to NOT give a great review; that way the next time that I come in for my haircut (about every 3 weeks) I'd be able to get right in with Kaycee without having to wait. I was recently in the Jackson area and needed a haircut so I looked up barbers in the area and this place popped up so I figured I’d give it a chance being that it’s in a storefront like meijer I didn’t have high hopes, but they were very friendly professional And did a good with my haircut the woman that I had didn’t speak very good English, but was nice and understanding and took her time cutting my hair. Also, the price was reasonable. If I was in a pinch like I was today I would definitely come back and have my haircut here.
