Amelia is truly a chemist and a wizard. I came in with bad damage from an attempted platinum card that went horribly wrong and some major PTSD. I previously had uneven highlights, permanent dark hair dye, and a mess of brassiness, yet she somehow managed to make my hair look BEAUTIFUL with zero damage! I’m extremely picky with my hair and I can’t stop staring at it because she blended everything flawlessly. She worked on my hair for ten hours straight and managed to be SO sweet, upbeat, and hilarious the entire time. I had so much fun and the salon is gorgeous! It’s spotless and decorated to perfection. She is so talented and has an amazing personality on top of that. She is stuck with me now!

I will start of saying Mia was an amazing stylist and took me for the first time from a dark black to blonde and it was easily the best hair cut / color I've ever had while she was at Jacob K. This was 2 years ago. Mia ended up moving and referred me last minute to Amelia. Amelia the first time I met with her, I loved my hair - color and cut - she did a great job. The second appointment I made with her this year, she also cancelled last minute saying she hurt her neck! I of course understood - and now seeing these reviews, I realize I was fooled. I went to her two weeks later - and I was not happy with the color of my hair this time. I tried to get an appointment and waited WEEKS to know if it would be approved only to have Amelia decline it the day before. Zero professionalism.
