When my friend introduced Dr. Li, I was hesitant because Dr. Li's practice is in Syracuse NY but I live more than 200 miles away. But because I had been troubled by the pain in my joints for so long and I had little luck with different pain treatments clinic/practices, I finally decided to give it a try. I was so glad I made the right decision. Unlike lots of acupuncturists, who possess little knowledge about Chinese medicine and/or anatomy, Dr. Li has deep knowledge about Chinese traditional medicine. He is a master of using the needles and his method of massaging reflects his broad knowledge about human bodies. Although I live far away, I go to his clinic every month. Due to massive adhesions (scar tissues) in my abdomen diagnosed in 2017, 15 years after a surgery in 2002, I had experienced gastroenterological symptoms of various kinds, accompanied by severe weight loss. My physician had many tests done for me and did not discover anything. In desperation I went to see Dr. Decheng Chen (陈德成), a Chinese acupuncturist and herbalist, in NYC. He found out in the first thirty 30 minutes of our first meeting that my condition was one of overgrowth of post-surgery adhesions that pre
