Primp & Polish (on Grand Street, Northside)

Called ahead for a gel mani regular pedi & had a wonderful experience on a Friday morning. My tech Margarita was fabulous and thorough. The massage chair was so good and so relaxing, especially with the nice cup of tea they gave me… Space was clean and quiet. Definitely tell them if you’re in a rush because it was on the slower side.

I’ve been a client at this salon for over a decade, and I’ve happy with my nails after every visit. I started getting hard gel manicures last year, and my nails always look great, lasting a full three weeks with perfect shape and great color. I always book with Danny L, who is incredibly skilled, fast, and amazing

Getting my nails done for cowboy Carter and was inspired by a design which the nail technician Abby was able to replicate perfectly. I was so amazed at her skill level and efficiency. Also, Jess at the front desk was so welcoming and helped me figure out how to make my nail inspiration come to life. A true neighborhood gem!

After 2 days, my chrome manicure was chipping. Because I was traveling abroad, I was unable to return for repairs. Despite being a regular customer for several years and providing evidence of the bad manicure, Primp & Polish refused to give a full refund. Their poor customer service was very frustrating. Be aware that if something goes wrong, this business will not take accountability for their mistakes.

Definitely pricey but probably best manicure I’ve ever had! They do marbled / watercolor effect really nicely. And served me wine :)
