Prim and Proper

Colby has been my barber for more than a year and a half, I’ve been going to him since he was in barber school. The cuts are always on point. Best barber in Iowa, no question. I’m not in Iowa right now, but when I’m back, he’ll be my first stop. Highly recommend 10/10.

After my son permanently revoked my “mom haircutting privileges”, following a failed trim-turned full buzz cut, I decided it was time to call in the professionals. We booked with Colby, and from the moment we walked in, we felt completely at ease. Colby’s warm personality and easy rapport instantly won us over—especially my son. He chatted with him like they’d been friends for years, and when we left, my son said, “That was the best haircut I’ve ever had in my life.” I couldn’t agree more. Happily, I’m retiring from my role as his hairstylist, confident his hair is now in the best possible hands.

Colby is great. Personable and gives solid cuts. I moved away for the summer but still wait until I’m back visiting in Iowa to get it cut by him. Best bang for your buck!
