I hate that this salon has such a low rating because it is not at all the perception that I have. I started going to Pride Locs at least 4 years ago. I went in as a walk-in because I was in town visiting family. The owner did my hair with no issues and everyone was so cordial, nice and just an all around good experience. I’m Active Duty and have relocated 3 times since then and every time I’m coming home, I make an appointment. My hair has been blessed by 4 stylists there and all of them have been 12 of 10. Toya ALWAYS gets my hair right and Tammie was the only one working in the shop after Thanksgiving and had my locs uniform ready for my return to work. These are some truly talented hair and loc artists. They’re masters of their craft. Please try them if you’re in town. It is worth it!

0/10 don't recommend. Booked on the site and acted as if I was the problem ,when i walked in. She acted as if she didn't know i had an appt. Got there at my appointment time and she was no where near finished with her current client. Barely acknowledged me...so I walked out!!! Just save yourself some money and time and find somewhere else to go!

I was inside the shop for 5 hours and for the 2 last hours, I got the services I went for. My original hairdresser wasn’t there so she passed all of her clients on to her other workers (she also scheduled me and someone for the exact same time). No one greeted you at the door and no one asked for your name or appointment when you walked in, you just have to sit and wait until they ask you a question. My hair washed for 2 seconds and I was rushed from the bowl. I asked my hairdresser if she could combine my locs and she said she could, but they weren’t combined properly. My retwist was done with EDGE CONTROL and there was a lot of it; it took me a week to get the edge control out of my hair and to get my hair to loosen up. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

This place should be taken off Google as it DOES NOT exist. When you call the number, some guy answers and says he’s been given their phone number, whatever that FULLY means. I actually drove to the address on this page and it doesn’t exist. Google should remove this business so people aren’t on wild goose chases. 🎯👎🏾
