I had an appointment this past Saturday for just a wash, conditioner, and blow out with Nyah. She did an amazing job of making me feel comfortable and she scrubbed my scalp super well. Everything went great till she was done and I saw my hair in the mirror looking so dry visually and to the touch. My hair was not smoothed out at all. Super disappointed. She had 2 other clients there so I was not comfortable addressing in that moment but planned to call to express this. I paid and tipped because she had such a great work ethic but more training is required.I went home and added moisturizer and some hot six oil and my hair still feels funny.Praying I have no heat damage. I called on the day of my appointment no answer and I sent a text. Called Monday no answer/callback. Ughhhh. So disappoi

Constance was amazing! I received a trim and she let me know the health of my hair. In addition, Constance gave me the steps needed to reach my hair goals. During the trim she took off exactly what was necessary and showed me what she was going to remove.

Left a message via their website and got a call back within just about 2 hours. Ayisha was able to get me a same day appointment on a Monday evening for a haircut. Now everyone knows that most salons are closed on Mondays so this was a big deal for me. My appointment was at 6:30pm and I was in Constance's chair by 6:20pm! Yes, that's right, directly in the chair, not called to a different waiting room, not next in line, she was ready for me. I was the only one there, Constance wasn't juggling me and 4 other clients. She was able to give me the consultation, care, and attention I needed. They use all natural products that feel and smell amazing. Constance was very respectful of my request for 2" or less cut/trim and I was able to give her the "go ahead" to take off more

I'm always nervous to try a new hair salons or stylist, but Constance was extremely sweet and made sure to make me known of everything she was doing. She was also very patient and persistent with my difficult hair. I love my new style and will definitely be returning and referring her to my friends.

I appreciate the kindness shown to me at this salon so this review isn’t personal at all. However, I received the worst hair cut of my life almost a year ago from the salon. I am still trying to grow it out - it will probably take another 18 months for it to grow out evenly. I am so disappointed and frustrated with how short and choppy my hair still looks. It’s been a year but I felt compelled to finally leave a review after taking out my box braids and seeing the state of my hair. That haircut ruined my hair and my confidence. I wish I would have just left it at the length it was at - I’ll never get a curly cut again.
