I was so happy with my appointment. Not only are they reasonably priced, but my nail tech did a great job. I am new to the area and this is the second (and probably last) salon I have tried out. My tech was personable and made sure to give me what I was looking for. She didn’t leave any overhanging acrylic like the last salon I had tried. I was very pleased and plan to use their salon moving forward.
Ohhhh where do I start, this place was my go to and James was the best. About a year ago I moved from the area and started going to another salon in the area. I just happened to be in the area and decided to go see James and get my nails slayed, 😔 I walked into the shop seeing a younger lady in James chair. A lady comes to me and ask me what I needed. A full set and pedi please. She guides me to the chair for my pedi and something seemed off, I asked where James? The told me he’s not here anymore, come to find out he and his wife sold the shop and moved to Minnesota about 6 months ago. In that moment I felt saddened and decided to try the ladies there, they were nice and the lady who did my feet was nice and pedi was good. Next was full set time, the nail tech was young and nice, and ment
Clean, friendly and talented. I went in for a pedicure and the lady doing it made sure to do everything that I wanted. She fixed my nails that were butchered by a different salon and she was so gentle while doing it. She asked how things were between each step. I went in with my feet covered in callouses and my nails in rough shape. I left with smooth feet, perfectly shaped and colored toenails and a relaxed mind state. I don’t remember the name of the lady that did mine, but she was amazing. I also observed the work and interactions of other employees and it seemed to be a high quality establishment all around. I will be returning if I’m ever back in ABQ and need a pedicure.
Took almost 3 hours, sat for almost 30 mins with appt and on time , could see the fake nail through , paid 70$ .every nail is messy and crooked paint ,took these pics 1 day after getting them done
UPDATE my pinky is now infected. I had to remove the fake nail because the swelling was going around it. It’s even starting to get a slight fungal infection. The salon is under new ownership. I regret to say this but under new ownership the salon has gone down hill. I went to get my nails done today and my acrylics are all different shapes and lengths. They overcharge and when it was brought up they stated we understand the prices are more than the other owners but we make up for it in the excellent service. Unfortunately that is untrue. I am very disappointed and now am on the hunt for a new salon. I wish James and his wife would come back!! 😥
