Prestige Nails - Non Toxic Salon

I had the mani pedi this afternoon… the pedicure was a positive experience. The manicure on the other hand… yikes. I’m not very picky, but when I’m paying a lot of money for a service, I expect it to not be messy or rushed. I’ve been getting builder gel/hard gel for 5+ years now. I had a great salon in north park area that I was loyal to, and then we moved up to the Escondido area. I’ve been looking for a new go-to salon, and I thought this would be it since the reviews are pretty good? I’m pretty upset with how my manicure turned out. It’s sloppy, the nails aren’t filed evenly, and the design is something I could’ve done in my sleep (it’s smeared In multiple places?)… I paid $10 for this design, $10 to trim my cuticles (and they look worse than before…), and another $70 for the hard gel?

I have been coming to this salon for a few months now. Every tech I’ve had has been amazing. I love my nails and get lots of compliments. What I love most about this salon is the non toxic aspect. No acetone, non toxic polish options. It smells like lotion, not chemicals. Everything is always clean. I won’t go anywhere else.

This is my go to spot. Lynn always does my nails, Lynn is always down for whatever design I request. Alva always does my pedicure, Alva gives great massages as well. I recommend both Lynn and Alva! They both are extremely talented and caring. It’s the best customer service. It’s a clean and professional salon. The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly.

Absolutely amazing! I came to California to visit family and the manicure I had was starting to chip so I decided to treat myself to a fresh manicure. It was that, or wait at least 1-2 weeks to get them fixed once I’m home (England). I am so glad I came across this wonderful place. The staff were very friendly and treated me as if we’d known each other for years. Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the lady who did my nails, but she did a spectacular job. Always checked I was happy with how the manicure was progressing. Next time I’m in Escondido, I will most certainly come here again. In the meantime, I’m going to recommend it to family & friends! The colour I chose was 503 (sort of a lilac blue) and the shimmer powder Q14. They look silver in the shade, and metallic pink/lilac

Still tipped to be nice and left early because I didn’t want to stay for hours, and because I got the effect of looking like natural sharp nails from far away… but I will probably try somewhere else next time. Don’t really expect people to look up close so I’m not miserable with these but not really worth over $60
