We’ve had great experience after great experience with Rachel. She is friendly, accommodating and efficient—everything feels easy and stress-free from start to finish. My kids genuinely like her and feel comfortable in her chair, which says a lot. She’s great at both cuts and color and consistently delivers. Show her a picture or describe what you want and she’ll give it to you. Overall, she’s awesome to work with and we highly recommend her for both kids and adults.

Great experience with Sienna! Both my kids got a hair cut and had a great time. Sienna was very patient with them and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend going to her.

My 16 years old daughter was charged $70 for trimming her hair 1 inch. It took 15 minutes. She was in at 1:30 pm and out before 2pm. The service was poorly done and rushed. We were definitely over charged. The service did not include shampooing or drying We will not come back. The staff is barely competent or professional . I wouldn’t recommend this place. You can get better quality of service and professionalism for the same cost or better elsewhere.

I took my daughter (not quite 3 years old) to PREP for her very first haircut and it went well! She was quite nervous but the stylist was very nice, and clearly confident working with kids. She wet and detangled her hair, trimmed the ends with just a little bit of layering, and we were on our way with a happy toddler and two Bluey stickers! Very happy that my daughter had a good first haircut experience and will definitely keep coming here. There’s a parking structure nearby with the first hour free so that’s a bonus too! Editing to add that her stylist was Ladawn!

I am always apprehensive of trying new places for hair for my girls. We decided to try Prep in Walnut Creek because of a recommendation from a friend that goes there. I am so happy we did. Returning customers for sure. Shawn and Naomi were awesome. My girls hair was adorable and I will be making an appointment for me as well.
