I had been going to Jay for the past four months, getting haircuts every two weeks. My father and son also used his services, and we often went together. At Jay’s request, I booked appointments by texting him directly instead of using Booksy so he could avoid fees. I always tipped 20% and, even though Booksy showed discounts at the time of my appointments, I paid full price to support his business. On August 22, I scheduled a 4:00 pm appointment with Jay through text, and he confirmed he would block that time for me. When I arrived, another customer was already in his chair claiming the same appointment time. Jay asked me to wait 30 minutes, which I agreed to. At 4:26, I went back inside only to see him starting on yet another customer. He then asked me to wait an additional 30 minutes. I
