Praise African Hair Braiding

Came in to do Fulani braids. I let them know prior that I had party to be at hours before. They assured me we will finish in time. They then went on tell me they need to quickly do another’s person hair so I complied and went out of the way so they can complete the person’s hair. They stopped multiple times on my hair. Sweeping, moving furniture, talking and eating. It’s like they were doing everything but my hair. They are not efficient and they are very time consuming. If you have some place to be don’t go here because they aren’t time manageable people. Still had to pay 200+ dollars

I’ve been twice and loved both times. Linda took me in as a walk in the first time and took my inspiration picture going to town on a rocking do. I’m a sad because I can’t find the finally look. She didn’t make me feel bad about my hair being too short and supplied the hair. (two weeks ago) Yesterday (3/18) she took my son and made home feel good about getting his hair braided for the VERY first time. Giving key pointers on how to maintain it. He immediately went home and did what was told of him for the upkeep. Today (3/19) she took my inspiration picture and beautifully worked her magic. DO NOT GO HERE!!! They did a horrible job on my hair. I asked for medium sized knotless braids and they gave me thin braids with large parts (especially in the middle). It wasn’t full at all and it was rushed. The parts were inconsistent and the braids varied in size. There were two women that braided my hair: an older lady and a middle aged woman. The older lady made my parts very large in the back. I noticed that she also did this with another customer. (The other customer even noticed this as well and asked if she were putting larger braids in the back of her head. Of course they both said no, but this wasn’t true. I noticed that her braids were significantly larger, but I was just trying to mind my business and get my hair braided). I also noticed that they don’t know how to blend cur

I got my hair braided here today and it was a truly wonderful experience. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, and Ms. Linda did an amazing job on my hair. She got started as soon as I walked in, she was warm and friendly, and she braided my hair fast! I loved that she took pride in her work, making sure each braid was tight and clean. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for a place to get their hair done, as well as to anyone who braids and is looking for a place to show off their skills. I will be getting my hair done here in the future. ❤❤❤

I came in for some mid length twists.From the moment I walked in to the shop until the moment I left I felt absolutely comfortable and at ease because the energy is great. It is so peaceful and the bathrooms are kept clean. Linda was VERY accommodating even from when I first booked my appointment, she was very straightforward and professional. She is the kindest woman with a beautiful heart and her energy makes you feel at home. You can tell she really cares about the health and beauty of her clients hair. She made great suggestions to my style and I absolutely LOVE it. 5 stars, I will definitely be back.
