I had a disappointing experience at Potomac Nail Spa. During my appointment, I observed the technician using tools on me that appeared to have just been used on another client without seeing them being sanitized in between. This made me uncomfortable, as proper sanitation is very important in a nail salon environment. I was also told that payment had to be made through Cash App. I preferred to use Apple Pay or a credit card, but was informed that Cash App was the only option at that time. I had to download and set up the app during checkout, which made the process inconvenient. I hope management takes sanitation procedures and payment flexibility seriously to improve the overall client experience.

I visited this establishment with my mother and granddaughter on September 17th, I saw Lynn. I told her I wanted dip powder but she insisted I get a “GEL POWDER” because it looks more natural. I told her I wanted dip powder because it lasts me 5 weeks. She said “trust me, it lasts longer, I’ve been doing this for 20 years. So I RELUCTANTLY said okay and she started on my nails. First off she over filed my cuticles, two fingers are still sore 4 days later, second the “gel powder” went on and looked like regular acrylic. I kept asking her about what she was applying and she kept telling me it was gel not acrylic and it was okay. When she was done applying she had me put my hands under the LED lights and my fingers burned. When I snatched my hand out she said “it only burns for a second now p

Wandered in one afternoon and there were no customers. The two people working were sitting in the massage chairs watching tv and scrolling their phone. They saw me, looked back down at their phones, and never said anything lmaooo. Not even a hello. So I left and went somewhere else. Not sure what that was about.

They do a great job on my, lashes brows and nails! Very fast and courteous service. No wait most times and salon is very clean.

Cut the side of my toe open during the buffing. Saw and ignored issue and kept going. Only put lotion and massages one foot. Called to let them know and just said I could come back to put lotion on.. definitely not and should have been refunded. Left very disappointed and will not be back.
