Jun cut and color my hair for more than 5 years. I have nature curl hair and a lot of volume so my hair is hard to deal with. Jun is professional and always give me good advice to maintain it well and cut my hair in a way that it won't be too puffy and looks good in long term. I always book next appointment right after I finish an appointment so it is never an issue to book an appointment even though Jun is super popular. I heard you can get wait-list if you want to do the hair soon while I never tried that.

I have been getting my haircut from Jun for over 8 years. I like to keep my hair short but it is not easy to find a hair stylist who can give a stylish short haircut for a woman. Every time she goes back to Japan (where she is from), she goes to seminars or gets a cut from a well-known stylist to keep learning about new trendy hairstyles and/or about new products. I trust her skills and knowledge so much that sometimes I asks her to do “whatever she wants” and it always turns out great! I often get comments about my haircuts and people ask me where I get my hair done. Sure, sometimes it is not easy to get an appointment as some reviewers said, but I would rather let my hair grow a bit longer (yet, it keeps in a good shape for a long time) than go someone else for a haircut.

I came in for a men’s haircut but unfortunately, this was not the experience I was hoping for. My appointment wasn’t with Jun, who is highly recommended, but with the other stylist. The haircut felt rushed and left me with the impression that I wasn’t really welcome, almost as if she didn’t want me there but couldn’t turn me away. The result was disappointing, though not entirely surprising given the rushed process. There was excessive use of thinning scissors, which left my hair uneven and inconsistent in length. Some areas were noticeably longer than others, making the overall cut look messy and unpolished. I couldn’t help but wonder if it was because I’m not Japanese that I was treated this way. Update after two years, I came back for another haircut. Had an appointment with Jun this time and she did magic to my hair! Now my hair looks soooo good that I feel I don’t wanna even sleep with it. I have wavy and hard hair. Jun is an expert in dealing with hair in this texture and I’m so glad with the end result! Definitely recommend you to visit here if you have similar hair issue! I have been going to this hair salon in Santa Clara for the past 2 years and I am extremely happy with the services I have received. The owner and stylist is highly professional and always goes above and beyond to make sure I am satisfied with my hair. Not only is the stylist talented at what they do, they are also extremely friendly and make the experience enjoyable. The shop itself is beautifully decorated and has a welcoming atmosphere. One of the things I appreciate about this salon is the convenient parking. It is always easy to find a spot and I never have to worry about being late for my appointment because I couldn't find a place to park. The location of the salon is also easily accessible, making it convenient for me to stop by for a quick touch-up or for a full styling session
