Polished Nails & Spa

The experience was fine, but my gel manicure started peeling up at the cuticles within 5 days. Website says it lasts “up to 2 weeks or more” so I’m pretty disappointed (and I have had gel polish many, many times before and know that they should NOT be peeling up that quickly). I was also super careful the first few days to avoid having my hands wet/in water for extended periods of time, but the polish became all lumpy around day 5 towards the top of my nail at the cuticles, so I’m skeptical that the polish was cured correctly under the UV light. Shape is pretty bad and blotchy. They might be good at some things but it’s not acrylic. Asked for square.. got duck nails! But atleast my cuticles aren’t bleeding anymore!

Cute place with Calming spa music. I just really don’t like how my nails came out (I got a dip on natural nails) 😔 he cut them too short and did not thin out the nail so they look like bubbles now. And the are crooked and the thumb nail is very crooked and it has a piece of hair stuck in it that is going to drive my nuts for the next few weeks!!!

I came to the salon while visiting my mother for the holidays. We spent hundreds of dollars on facials and pedicures. Even though the salon knew we were there for a scheduled appointment, they were extremely behind schedule to appointment. My mother almost didn’t even get the facial that she had originally booked for. She also left with cuts on her toes and had an overall bad experience. I then decided to get my nails done that same day, and the set was not only done it completely opposite of what I wanted,. To start things off I had asked for dip and I got acrylic… And asked numerous times if the design was too difficult, and they insisted it wasn’t… When the nails came out completely wrong, I was still charged and not refunded when expressed my unhappiness. The pedicure was amazing!! However I got a full set of acrylics as well and all of the nails are a different shape, they have dips and divots in the surface and the polish was not evenly done. I spent nearly 200 dollars on both services and will need to spend more to get them fixed elsewhere. Two days post pedicure I did go to get my nails fixed and was told the gel polish wasn’t dry on my fingers upon looking at my toes I’m noticing what look like bubbles in the polish. I’m absolutely appalled considering I was charged an additional 15$ on top of the 75$ charge for the pedicure for the gel polish.
