For a middle of nowhere cave it was worth the drive. I'd give it a 5 star for the depth and height of the cave and the fact that it houses bats but with all the defacing and graffiti it loses some luster. Definitely need a headlamp for the deeper portion of the tube. We went about half a mile deep yo the North and found the bat colony, the tube continues on from there. A fun cave to explore, plenty to climb over and under.
Awesome cave, lots of generations have explored here. Great belly squeeze section at the end if you are brave enough to make it!
Amazing cave system, bring water headlamp and extra batteries/power bank and charging cable. Kn95 face mask recommended for some dusty parts of the trail where bat poop has fallen and mixed with the dirt, so if you kick up dust your breathing all that in. just be aware of your surroundings and mindful of the integrity of the cave system, don’t knock,kick, or throw rocks at the walls, no fires, etc.
This is such an awesome place. You get to walk through the lava tubes formed after a volcano. Def need a good headlamp. Very beautiful and the rocks are amazing.
Really nice and very natural caves Keep some light or torch as you go in it would be pitch dark
