PLUNJ Herriman

I went to this Plunj as a group of 8 guys for part of my brother’s bachelor party. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but leading up to it, it was basically a competition, talking up who could stay in the cold water the longest (It definitely was not me). When we got there, the facilities were super nice, clean, and it had a nice spa vibe. There was someone there who was very helpful to show us to the changing rooms and bathrooms which also have lockers to store your things in after changing into a swimsuit. She also offered toe mitten things for when you get in the cold water; I will definitely be trying those next time. Plunj in Herriman has been such a gift to me and my family during an incredibly difficult season of life. They supported both me and my brother-in-law through the hardest moments while his wife was going through cancer treatment and, more recently, after her passing. The contrast therapy and calm, spa-like environment Plunj provides has helped lift some of the heavy weight that comes with grief and stress in ways I didn’t expect. What an amazing place. Besides the obvious benefits from sauna / cold plunge, PLUNJ makes it even more enjoyable by maintaining a modern and clean space. Staff is extremely attentive and elevates the experience as well by monitoring the sauna, bringing cold towels and electrolyte drinks. There are showers found changing rooms as well. I would easily recommend to anyone.

Did my first session a few weeks ago. There’s something about stepping into that cold water that completely shocks your system (in a good way), and then following it with the heat of the sauna that feels like a full body reset. By the end, my muscles feel looser, my mind feels clear, and my whole body just feels recalibrated. It’s intense for a few minutes, but the after-feeling is unbeatable. This has easily become one of my favorite ways to reset and recharge.

Such an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and I felt SO good afterward. I can’t wait to come back and see how long I can go in the cold plunge next time. Highly recommend!
