Play Bar Boutique Spa

I have my neighbor to thank for recommending Play Bar. The driving force, is 24 year old, Black business owner Nia Douglas and like me, a fellow alumni of Christine Valmy. I had a service called, "The Works". It's a facial with cleansing, exfoliation, dermaplanning, extractions, high frequency and mask...so in other words...the works! I am a gate keeper with my skin and being an esthetician, very particular. I was in good hands with Nia. The service was excellent. She was thorough and used products that smelled lovely. I hate pushy people that upsell and Nia did none of that. She is very client friendly and devoted to her love of skin and make-up. Aside from that, she's a sweetheart. The conversation flowed like we'd known each other for years.

The ambiance at Play Bar is beautiful. They give you a complimentary drink when you arrive. I went for a back facial last week with Amy & she was amazing !! Super sweet & did a great facial. I noticed a lot less breakouts on my back. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for luxury treatment at a great price!

I went to Play Bar for “The Works” facial and I am so satisfied. Nia is so polite, welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional. She addressed all my concerns and questions, I was seen on time, felt extremely relaxed the entire process, and my skin looks and feels amazing. The spa is very clean and well decorated & I was offered a drink while she got my room ready. Couldnt ask for better service. Already booked my next facial! Thank you Nia!

Loved my time here. The aesthetic of the spa is so beautiful and sleek looking. Nia the owner, was welcoming and friendly and I did the deep cleaning facial with Amy, who is very knowledgeable and shared so many skin products! It’s been a few days after my facial and my skin is thriving! A lot of my dark spots have faded and my skin feels hydrated. Really happy with the results and appreciate the great customer service.

*UPDATED REVIEW* I went to see Tori and it was incredible. She called me to inform me the first girl no longer worked there so I thought I’d give it another shot. So worth it! Tori was fantastic. So sociable. I felt so comfortable and relaxed. She was so professional. I love it when nail techs are able to get creative and she did this beautiful frosted chrome. It’s so icy and reminds me of Elsa from frozen. It was a fantastic experience. 10/10 recommend! Must see Tori. She’s the only one I recommend.
