I have been coming to Pixie’s for years. Hands down Ashley is the best in the capital district. She takes the time to listen to what I want and is so consistent. I just tell her “the usual” and sit back and relax. Always perfect! I have very thick hair and knowing how to de-bulk is an art. Ashley is incredible! I am completely amazed at how someone can replicate the same cut, length, style and give me exactly what I want, every single time. And when I want change she’s great at that, too! She’s an artist!

Excellent salon, especially the stylist Ashley! She does an amazing Ouidad cut for curly hair!! She is great with color! I have been going to her for at least 15 years. I would not use another stylist in the Capital Region because she is hands down the best!!

I got a cut and color at Pixie. I don't recommend them. The stylist warned me the cut would look bad until it grew out, and I just needed to tough it out for a few months. I ended up working with another stylist at another salon who got it right the first time. The color at Pixie was fine, but the overall experience was very bad. They use too many automated systems that don't solve the issue you're trying to contact them about. You can't get a live person on the phone. There's a recording telling you to send an email, which doesn't get a reply. However, I did get 4 live upsell calls after I booked my appointment, each one trying to get me to add more services to my cut and color. You can't walk into the salon. Amber is amazing! She is consistent, listens to what I want and does an amazing job everytime. Highly recommend. The inside of this place is also out of this world. Its so well designed and comfortable and at home. I love the updates and the over all feel of being in there.
