I had a horrible experience here-- This was my first visit, booked on a friend's recommendation, and it was especially meaningful as I was getting my hair done for my own engagement party that evening. My appointment with Marycate was scheduled for 3:00pm but didn't begin until after 3:10. While a short delay wouldn't normally bother me, the service itself was then rushed once the 3:30 client arrived. My wash and blow dry were completed in UNDER 30 minutes--even though I have long, curly hair--and I left the salon with VISIBLY WET ROOTS. My best friend, who was seated beside me, texted me mid-service because she couldn't believe my appointment was finished when it was clear my hair wasn't. This is a beautiful salon. However, the technician that did my hair yesterday was very inexperienced. I told her I wanted a bouncy, classic blow dry and she dried my hair completely straight. And she did the bangs last, a big mistake. I then asked her to give me some volume, which she did, except for the back of my head, which was completely straight.I was extremely disappointed to spend $64 plus a tip for a meh blow dry. Price higher than Greenwich Avenue. I had to redo my own hair today. Pink soda you can do better!
