Been there like maybe 15 times because of convivence of being close to home and work. I finally had to stop going because I was not getting the minimum service of a typical barber haircut. You cannot get the expected normal neck shave (I think if you ask, they will do it) Although Scott gave me the neck shave the one time I was in his chair. Don't expect your fuzzy overgrown eyebrows to be touched. Pretty sure that Scott always does the works, takes his time. The other 2 barbers, not so much. I am 100% bald on the top, The only hair I have is in the sides. I ask for a #2 blade to skin the sides and that's it. They will rush the cut in about 2 to 3 minutes. No razor, no brows. I tip my normal 5 dollars, and I am on my way quietly. I respectively challenge the ones that don't do the minimum

Great place! My Dad always asks to take him here to get his hair cut. Great barber shop with great conversations. If there is a line, it is worth the wait.

Best Barber in Akron. The shop is great for hanging out. Awesome dude. Scott has brought in two additional barbers and can now accommodate even more customers. Great place to visit and hang out.

TL;DR I ended up paying $40 for a lady to not listen to what I wanted and butcher my beard that I've been growing for 2 years, in a way I could have done at home for free. First time in and definitely my last. While I was waiting I could see the lady barber was getting annoyed at the older man who's hair she just finished cutting because he was chatting with a different client and didn't get out of the chair immediately. When I got in the chair I asked for a simple hair cut (0 all the way around) and asked if she could help clean up my beard, that's id been growing for almost 2 years. Instead of asking any questions or verifying what she thought I meant she proceeds to tell me "I'll make you look good" and cuts my beard off leaving a 5 o'clock shadow. Very rushed and poor quality haircut from Lori. Literally spent less than 5 minutes and then immiedetly disappeared after I began looking in mirror to ask for touch ups. I just asked for a simple skin fade, and blend of the top of my hair.
