Looking at these reviews, I wonder how I had such a bad experience for my daughter's very first hair cut. So bad we will not be giving a second chance. The woman who cut my daughters hair was EXTREMELY confrontational when I asked questions. I was recommended by my nail tech to ask for a cut specifically for curly hair. The woman answered me like I was stupid saying there is "no such thing as a curly hair cut" and I "shouldnt be taking recommendations from a nail tech and she should stick to her profession". (I later found out that curly hair absolutely should be cut a specific way and it was not a ridiculous request as this stylist made me feel) Her attitude should have made me walk out but my daughter was so excited for her first ever hair cut, specifically a princess hair cut that came

Took my son for a trim. He went in with fairly long hair and just wanted it cleaned up and trimmed. The person who began his haircut was wonderful and working to keep it as requested. She then asked for assistance and the manger came over and without asking completely chopped his hair. She started with such a big chunk without even offering a moment for me to tell her no. My son left and immediately began crying that she cut it so short and not at all what he went in requesting. She was also quite rude to him in the process. Still offering 3 stars because the initial stylist was so carful about confirming what length to cut off and was very pleasant. Kristina was amazing with our kids and you can definitely tell she has the experience. The entire establishment is very welcoming and has toys and interactive games while you wait. We will be back as soon as our boys hair needs it! This is the best place ever for families. I continue to add to this post over the years, we are almost on year three of going to Kristina and we will never leave! She and any of her team members are next level kids and even adult cuts professionals. Tip of the spear in the hair cutting world!

We recently made the drive across the water to visit Pigtails and Crewcuts after hearing so many wonderful things about this location, and it was absolutely worth the trip! My son usually struggles with haircuts due to bad past experiences, but Kristina made him feel at ease from the very beginning. She was so kind and welcoming, offering him a cookie and a lollipop right away, which really helped calm him down. Kristina even had one of the other staff come over to blow bubbles, creating a fun distraction that worked perfectly. The whole process was incredibly quick—his haircut took only 10 minutes—and the result was fantastic. My son left smiling, which is a huge change from his usual discomfort during haircuts. We brought our 1 year old twin boys here for their first hair cut and we had a wonderful experience! Everyone was so friendly! Brandy and Krystal did a great job - the cuts look great and they were so sweet and gentle with our boys. The 1st haircut package was a great deal and a sweet memento 🥰 We will be back for their next haircut!
