Mrs. Charlene was PHENOMENAL. We took out almost 2 year old to get a haircut and we knew he wasn't going to be okay with someone getting close to head and touching him. She was so patient and adapted to what made him comfortable, and was able to give him a great haircut quickly. The whole environment was perfect for children. It was clean, had tons of stuff for them to touch and play with. We were able to get a printed picture with the date and a lock of his hair for his first haircut, him and his sister got a toy, and the even have a 7 day garentee where you can come back and they can touch it up. Thank you guys so much for you kindness, patience, and for such an amazing experience!

Love this place!! Molly was so great! It was my son’s second haircut and he went absolutely crazy! Molly was so kind about it and was able to still give him an excellent haircut! I am very impressed! We will be back!

I had great experience at Pigtails and Crewcuts with my son! Upon walking in the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The salon is decorated well and appeared very clean. I was excited to see that they have a playroom for the kids to play in while you wait. We came in for my son's very first haircut and I was a little nervous having never done this before. But Ms. Charlene was so much fun! I appreciate how friendly and patient she was with him. For the first haircut you're given a keepsake photo, a piece of their hair, a small toy from their treasure chest and a snack. My son was also given a 4th of July pinwheel for the upcoming holiday! Our son is autistic and this place was recommended by CAN autism. Unfortunately, our stylist was horrible with our son. She had absolutely no idea on how to help him through his haircut experience. He sat on the small airplane chair and was really eager to use the steering wheel. The stylist kept telling him not to touch , to keep looking at my phone while holding without moving at all down. She did not want to give him any breaks to stim. She had no patience with him to the point that our son started to cry and I just wanted it to end as soon as possible. As a matter of fact we did not finish his hair cut. She was rude and insisted on having him completely immobile during the whole haircut. Needless to say we won’t be returning there. Made an appointment had to wait 30 minutes after our scheduled time screaming kid made our kid anxious that entire 30 minutes. There was hair everywhere in the chairs play room was run down and dirty the walls need paint. Compared to the one I took my son to in Charlotte many years ago this place is a dive. Either fix it up or drop your prices
