Pigtails & Crewcuts: Haircuts for Kids - Cedar Park, TX

We’ve been going to Pigtails and Crewcuts for almost 7 years now and have always had a great experience. We have four kids and they do an incredible job with all of them. Jaime is extremely talented and great with kids of all ages. We’ve also had positive results from all of the other stylists when she’s not available. The front desk staff is always polite, kind and helpful, especially Cada. The owner is amazing and truly cares about her employees and clients. My kids love going to get their hair cut because it’s a fun experience and it’s always hard to get them to leave. We would highly recommend this place!

This is our family’s go-to spot for kids’ haircuts — both my toddler son and daughter come here regularly and always leave happy. The staff are incredibly friendly, patient, and great with children, which makes the whole experience stress-free for parents. Booking an appointment is easy and convenient, and the wait time is always reasonable. The salon is clean, kid-friendly, and thoughtfully designed to keep little ones comfortable and entertained during their haircut. From the moment we walked in, it felt cheerful and inviting — like a little wonderland made just for kids. The car/train/police chairs were a big hit with my 3½-year-old, and the toys kept him happily busy the whole time. Kumari did a wonderful job with such care and kindness, making the whole experience smooth and joyful. Best of all, my son truly had a fun time getting his haircut. We’ll definitely be back for our next trim!

Based on our experience, I strongly recommend steering clear of Jaime. I have never been spoken to with as much disrespect as I was by the stylist Jaime. Her attitude was extremely unprofessional and rude. She scolded me while I was holding my child, in front of other families and small children, because we were “already 3 minutes late.” This place has recently started scheduling children in 15-minute increments, which feels completely unrealistic—especially when working with toddlers who are understandably squirmy, anxious, or scared. If you are in the business of serving children and parents, there needs to be a baseline level of patience and compassion. Being rude and dismissive in that environment is unacceptable.
