Piggly Wiggly/ Ace Hardware

Great southern grocery store attached to a very nice Ace Hardware. The fried chicken was recommended, and didn't disappoint. You can get a complete southern meal at the hot food counter! Friendly staff, great selection, enjoy.

Everyone I have met who works there is friendly and helpful. They are following current health guidelines for everyone's safety. My only issue is that no matter how many days I have been in there and asked for my meat and cheese to be sliced thin, it is not sliced thinly at all. The quality was good so I'm going to chalk it up as a first world problem.

This Piggly Wiggly deserves nothing less than 5 stars!! This location has been locally owned and operated by the late Glenn Vinson and his family for many many years. His son, Jason Vinson now manages this store as well as another store located in Belmont, MS. You simply could NOT ask for a better neighborhood grocery store! They indeed know the value of hard work as well as the value of building lasting relationships with their customers. This store is absolutely excellent in not only working diligently to please their customers but assist in providing help to senior citizens & other services to the surrounding community as well. The Piggly Wiggly staff & employees in Red Bay as a whole are all very good, helpful friendly people. I have to give credit where it's due and that goes to

.........I didn't go to Piggly Wiggly forward slash Ace hardware. I just parked in their parking lot to go in the Mexican restaurant next door. But I mean........ I've been in there many times before........ it's alright I reckon........ bout as good as you could expect from a grocery store, hardware, laundry mat, dining room combination I suppose.

On 10/21/25 5:36 pm I called about cashing a check, the lady hesitated, asked someone. Then they asked who I was and because they didn't know me they said they couldn't do it.
