Phil's Barbershop & Shave Parlour

This place is a gem. The decor is fabulous and the cut that Lucy gave me was fantastic. She really took her time and made sure it was perfect. Plus she used a straight edge to clean up my neck area and my sideburns. She also made sure my eyebrows were perfect. If you want a haircut that is done in meticulous fashion, and with service that comes from a stylist who cares about your result, this is your shop!

I have been getting haircuts in the NYC metro area for over 20 years. However, when I was visiting Manchester I stepped into Phil’s shop and received a superior trim. Cutting 3c curls is not easy but Phil handled my hair with skill, care and precision. The warm lather and straight razor at the end was magnificent. I highly recommend Phil’s Barbershop and Shave Parlor and look forward to returning.

This place is fantastic, and all of the people who work there are incredibly kind and welcoming. This was my first time going to a proper barber shop and allowing someone else to trim my beard, and they did a great job. I was a walk in close to closing time, and they were accommodating without hesitation and didn’t rush to get out on time. I will definitely be going back for all of my cuts and trims moving forward. Great spot in town, I am hesitant to leave a good review because I don't want them to have a line out the door, preventing me from getting my hair cut faster ;) but they deserve a great review! They do my son's cut too and he is like a wet noodle in the chair. It takes a bit of patience with him but they do a great job!
