Philly Cuts

Just left my appointment at Philly Cuts and it was a great experience. I got there right on time. It went straight to the chair where I was greeted by Sync. He asked me what I was looking for and how I wanted my beard trimmed and lined up. He did an absolutely exceptional job and I’m very pleased with the outcome. Big shout out to the gentleman in the barbershop as well for a great conversation. It was more than a beard trim, it was an experience. Beard likes the Wayne Bros over Martin so give him a little flack!

Got scammed. Dannon cut my hair and was unprofessional, barely had tools and did things I explicitly said I didn’t want, including a hair wash and enhancements. Then charged me $60 for services I didn’t ask for. I was supposed to be with a different barber who offers discounts but got blatantly upcharged instead. The cut was mid at best. Not worth it.

Maurice did an excellent job with my hair. He asked all the right questions to make sure he understood how I wanted my cut. He also checked in before using any products in my hair. Philly Cuts feels like a community cornerstone that cares about their service. I'll be visiting again.

I came in today looking like simple jack. Every hair on my head was a different length - it was insane. I don't know how I didn't see it last week when I had gotten butchered at a different barber shop. Also I had long hair until recently, haven't gotten a haircut in a long time and don't know how to talk about hair. My appointment was with Maurice, from the second chair, who did an incredible job explaining everything he was doing, asking me lots of questions, making sure we were on the same page, and making me feel comfortable that I wasn't about to get turned into a goblin. Confirming steps every step of the way, he was able to get the image I had in my head of what I wanted to look like to actually happen, despite me totally not being able to be more descriptive than "I just wanna loo

I walked in the shop and was immediately greeted by Maurice (second chair when you walk). I didn’t know what to expect but he gave me a fantastic cut and couldn’t have been a nicer guy! Highly recommend him if you come here.
