I had such a great experience with Phillana! She is so hospitable and friendly from the moment you walk in. I genuinely enjoyed chatting with her and even watching Netflix together. She makes the whole appointment feel comfortable and fun. She was incredibly fast with my French curl braids, but still very precise. I really appreciated how she kept checking in to make sure I liked everything, especially my middle part. I have a moving scalp, and a lot of places never ask me to check or adjust, so that meant a lot. She was attentive and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. Her prices are very fair for the level of precision and care she provides. She is such a doll. I will definitely be using her again. Love her!

Been going to her a little over 2 years now. She has helped me find my hairstyle that truly suits ME we came up with the styles together but she helped me figure out the rest. Philana Plaits -African Hair Braiding is a nice spot to get your hair braided at. Philana is very nice and patient. The prices are decent. Philana also provides Netflix so you can choose something to watch while she braids your hair. Very relaxing. Philana braids hair in decent time too.
