Phil is a thorough and skilled massage therapist meeting my unique issues with curiosity, care, and deep listening, both in the intake and during the session with his clear and and intentional touch. His intake was exceptional from my 42 years as a Physical Therapist and having hundreds of massages over the years. The table session began with a subtle craniosacral introduction, followed by addressing agreed upon areas of focus. Here he when layer by sensitive layer beginning with fascial release and skillfully moving into deeper eccentric work using elongation with co-facilitated pressure to make sure it was "just right." Phil is incredible! I was looking for a massage but got so much more with Phil! He was quick and responsive when booking my (first) appointment. During our initial consultation, I could tell he really wanted to get to know my health history and areas of concerns. He was informative and communicated throughout the massage. From the beginning to end, he was professional and made me comfortable the entire time. Phil uses so many different massage modalities and techniques - many a first in all the massages I’ve ever had. I had a great experience with Phil. He did an initial consultation and assessment to determine just what areas to work on. He was very indepth and explained the process before we started. This was the most unique and thorough massage I've ever had with different modalities being utilized. I like that it was a collaboration that utilized movement and breath to get the greatest benefit. I had a shoulder impingement with limited range of motion that's now feeling amazing and able to fully move without pain. If I lived here I would be a regular!

I had an amazing massage experience with Phil. He really took the time to listen and asked thoughtful questions about what I was experiencing. I came in with pain in my upper body, shoulders, and neck, and he directly addressed those areas with a mix of intuitive touch and techniques that felt both healing and restorative. There was a meditative aspect with breathwork and imagery which was very helpful. Phil was very thorough and brought such a kind, caring energy to the whole session. I received the massage during a vegan festival, and it was the perfect break from all the excitement to focus on myself. I truly appreciated the space he created for self-care and healing.
