My family had been coming to Monica since 2003. My elderly parents were loyal customers, up until last Sept (2024) when they went missing on their way to an appointment with her, and ended up in a very unfortunate ordeal, leaving them stranded in a hospital far from home until the county was finally able to appoint them a legal guardian and move them somewhere safe. My mother passed last month, Oct 3rd, and Monica could have been less bothered. She didn't even respond, let alone show up for her funeral. All that talk about how much she loved my parents and she can't muster so much as a text, let alone show up for the live web cast of the service. I love my colorist Erika and my barber JT. They are amazing artists.

All I have to say is that they do not care about their customers. I had gotten my hair done here 3 times prior to the last visit I scheduled. I couldn’t show up to that last visit because I live 3 hours away , I had an emergency and my phone had broken at the time I had no way of communicating but I guess that seem like it could never happen to anybody. She proceeded to tell me that she didn’t care about what I had going on that she was gonna have to charge me a fee for not cancelling and on top of that they charge 100 for the hour to get hair dyed. But I didn’t appreciate the way she talked to me as if I didn’t matter as a customer even tho I had never cancel any other appointment. You guys need to be more understanding of your customer if they have an emergency and not be so rude about i

For my first time at this salon, I have got to say I am very impressed. Tahera did my hair and she was super friendly, helpful, a good listener, and amazing, professional stylist. The atmosphere is modern, clean, and easy going. You get your own room away from everyone else which during COVID-19 was relieving to me, and more personal too. There prices are decent (not too much, but just right and fair), products are nice, and time in and out of there is on point. I spent 2 hours total there, and since I have curly hair I chose to purchase the Big Sexy brand shampoo and conditioner. So far so good! Highly recommend 10/10!!!
