Persons of Interest - Fort Greene

I have been a loyal client here for a year, but my recent experience was completely unacceptable. I called ahead to report a minor transit delay(subway delayed) and was assured over the phone that it would be fine. However, when I arrived exactly eight minutes past my appointment time, the staff nonchalantly informed me my appointment was canceled and casually charged me a cancellation fee. Assuring a customer over the phone only to dismiss and penalize them in person is incredibly rude and unprofessional. While I understand salons have cancellation policies, allowing a customer to commute to the location only to dismiss them is profoundly bad customer service. Having visited numerous salons across NY and the US, I have never encountered such rigid, disrespectful behavior. They clearly do

Inviting atmosphere, it felt like half the clients were regulars (a good sign). I’ve routinely struggled to find someone to do a good job with my curly coarse hair. Trent nailed it and was friendly and disarming while also ensuring that I got exactly what I wanted. I’m writing this in an effort to not gatekeep a good neat cut for my curly guys out there.

Great place, been going here for 2+ years and bounced between a few different barbers. Finally landed on Thadius, and now I'm seeing him every 2 weeks. Precision fades every time, awesome personality—best part of my week! Can't recommend him highly enough. And shout out to Sam at the front desk for always making it feel so welcoming!

This space is really chill. My go-to barber is Thadius. He's friendly, efficient, and my haircut always looks great even after a few weeks. I love the records they play next door, the person at the front desk, and the complimentary refreshments. Highly recommend!

Thadius has consistently given me the best haircuts I’ve ever had. At this point he is my go-to. Works quickly and confidently and I always leave the shop happy. The shop itself is also a great vibe/ cool place to be.
