PENZONE Salon + Spa Dublin

I scheduled my appointment for 1pm and then I brought my baby and they said they couldn’t do my hair because I brought my baby, whatever that’s ok I get that. They got me rescheduled for 5:45 the same day. I got there the next time and they said what I wanted was not booked correctly. I wish they would’ve said that at 1 but ok. (Mind you I cried both times because I was really upset bc I have such a tight schedule) So I had to get rebooked for a 5 hour advanced color a couple weeks later (disappointed). I attached my reference photo and we agreed it would be a peachy blonde. I ended up with pink ends and blonde hair and bright pink money piece. Looks like a 16 year olds hair. I hate to leave this review, but I am also tired of eating the cost and swallowing the disappointment. As far as I understand, this was a senior nail tech (Marcella, if I spelled her name correctly), with experience and training on the level that I was requesting. While I enjoyed the conversation we had, as I walked out, I realized that... well... I could have put the polish on my toenails better than this person. What disappoints me the most is that I am coming to a salon to get this done, because I want to get it done better than I would be able to do it myself. I'm coming in with hands full of money, more than willing to pay, and to leave a generous tip on top, as I usually like to do. Just please do it well for me! Please? What else can I do? I recently had my hair done by Aldina at Penzone Dublin, and I can honestly say I finally found my person! ✨ As someone who’s usually very cautious about trusting anyone with my hair, Aldina completely changed that from the very first moment — her calm confidence, genuine care, and professionalism made me feel instantly at ease. I absolutely love Penzone for my hair! Jackson is truly fantastic. I usually get a Luxe Highlight along with a haircut and style, and Jackson always takes the time to ensure it’s just right. I really appreciate Jackson’s knowledge, and I always end up learning something new about taking better care of my hair. I can’t recommend Jackson enough! The salon itself is spacious, modern, and spotless. In the bar area, you can purchase specialty coffee and drinks. There are also some prepackaged snacks if you get hungry, especially while waiting for your color to develop. Plus, they offer complimentary self-serve coffee, tea, and water. Treated my daughter to a special occasion hairstyle. The stylist contacted me a few days prior to see if there were pics of inspiration and to be assured she would have all the supplies necessary. When we arrived she was preparing to start and pulled out dark elastics and said that’s all she had. I questioned the photos showed clear as it was for blonde hair. She attempted to look for some but ultimately didn’t find any. The style itself was cute but ruined the invisible look she was going for. At this price point I expected more.
