Penthouse Salon

First of I would like to say that I typically do not leave bad reviews. However, after having my two bad experiences with this salon, I do believe I need to share it. In October of 2024 I made an appointment with Sonia to get a lace closure wig dyed and installed. I dropped off my wig about 1 week before my appointment. The day of the appointment, I come in and I notice the wig is dyed to a light brown/ bleach color than what I had requested which was more of a chocolate brown. She mentioned that she has been having difficulty color processing the wig as it is not taking to color very well. She mentioned that I should reach out to the Wig manufacturer for a refund on the wig. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Penthouse Salon with Bethany. Not only did she bring my vision to life, she exceeded what I was picturing and the hair provided is quality. I also am so grateful for the professional, clean and relaxing environment at the salon. My service took around 6+ hours and I felt comfortable, taken care of and not overwhelmed which I often leave the salon feeling. Penthouse has a variety of snacks and beverages which is a wonderful perk but also comfortable chairs - I was not hurting after 6 hours sitting. On top of all that I'm extremely active, and was considered about a glued on closure, but it has really upheld all my workouts so far. Overall, can't say enough positive things.

Amazing service! Bethany went above and beyond to understand what I was looking for as a client & educated me on what was best for my hair. I never once felt rushed or uncomfortable. The end product was better than what I had even imagined. I’d recommend her over & over again!

Where do I begin? I have been going to Penthouse Salon and seeing the wonderful owner, Bethany, for YEARS! She is an absolute star at what she does, the best hair guru and the most kind, welcoming stylist I have ever had. What truly locked us in dates back to December 2023 where I made the brave decision to bleach my hair and dye it ginger. And since then, I have never looked back. The way she created this new color that is a combination of copper, ginger, and brown is top tier elite hair mastery. Since then, I've never stopped getting compliments on how much the color compliments my skin tone. I'm proud to call myself a loyal customer. I love The Penthouse Salon! I found it last year while looking for a salon that truly understands textured hair. I have thick, coarse type 4 hair, and I’ve been back many times. Bethany is my main stylist. She’s always gentle, patient, and attentive. I’ve also had a great experience with Jealynn when she did my knotless braids. Even as a college student on a budget, I happily invest in The Penthouse Salon. I love that they offer Wi-Fi, snacks for long appointments, and a comfortable space where I can relax, watch shows, or talk about my hair.
