Peaceful Making is a delightful place to shop for all kinds of knitting, crocheting, weaving, spinning, and other making-related supplies and materials. The yarn selection is spectacular! I have never seen so many beautiful natural fibers from around the world in one shop. The staff help to make every shopping experience special, sharing their knowledge and expertise in a welcome, supportive way. And there is an online store for those of us who can’t be on the Outer Banks year-round. Customer service is second-to-none. As an example, I placed an order online after 2 pm on Black Friday, and I received my package at noon on Sunday. I can’t recommend Peaceful Making highly enough.

Had the loveliest experience ordering my needle set. They were so helpful online when I asked about shipping. Quick to respond and super quick shipping. Could not be happier! They included a hand written note, and it looked like they put so much care into wrapping my package. I’m grateful! This was a birthday gift and I highly recommend supporting. What an amazing and inviting space! Mischel and Jenna are wonderful. So many quality products available, but the best is the maker’s space in the back I hadn’t noticed my first time in. It’s bright, modern, and inspiring. Grateful to live so close! This is a true gem. 💎

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Amazing selection of products. Still very much a beginner and was able to find a few things to help me learn a bit more. Was told they offer classes online and in store since I’m not local and can’t wait to try them out
