I’ve visited this business once before and since it’s the closest to my home I decided to visit this beauty supply store to pickup some hair dye. The store does have many options but once thing I can say I didn’t like and made me feel uncomfortable was having an employee stand and watch me the whole time I tried to make a decision on what color I wanted. Since she insisted on standing there at the end of the isle I shopped in I asked if she knew anything about hair color and she said no. So I told her I would let her know if I needed her assistance but she still stood there and only moved once I moved to the register which made me feel like a thief and so I didn’t care to buy anything else ( I was their first and only customer in the store). Though I’m in law enforcement I felt like a bum

I’ll admit — I may not know everything about hair, and that’s on me. But that doesn’t mean I deserve to be misled. I asked the owner and the hispanic lady multiple times if the extensions would be longer than my natural hair, and they reassured me that they would be. After the install, I got home and realized there was almost no difference. The hair was thin, uneven, and didn’t give the effect I paid for. When I brought this up, I was met with no accountability & not even store credit. Just because I’m not a hair expert doesn’t mean I should be treated like I’m dumb. I expected honesty and professionalism, and unfortunately, I didn’t get either. Based on this experience, I can’t recommend this service.

I love the owner of this store. He is nice, friendly and helpful. He makes my shopping experience enjoyable. However, I was targeted and racially profiled throughout the store by a Hispanic woman with black hair. She did not hide the fact that she was watching me on the cameras but also took my bag, rummaged through it and spoke badly about me to the other Hispanic customers in the store. Despite the pleasantness of the owner, I will no longer shop at this store and will advise others not to do the same.

If I could put zero stars I WOULD. The worst customer service, rude people, the white black-haired woman who claims to be Spanish, rude and haughty without even giving a solution to what we ask. We wanted to change certain wigs and they didn't want to because "we had removed the tag" and according to her "we had already used it" when it had not even been an hour since I bought them. Regarding her short-haired co-worker, another rude, when she rolled her eyes and saw us in a bad way with a face of total displeasure. They don't know how to work in customer service, terrible service.

While I understand theft is a big issue in retail, as a black man who frequents your store for products, I don’t enjoy the staff literally standing next to me as I browse to prevent stealing. I offered to leave my bag behind the counter, but she refused and continued to watch me like a hawk. Utilize your cameras. I don’t think I’ll be returning because of this experience.
