Paradise Spa & Sauna

I wish I had read the reviews beforehand, because I had a similar experience regarding tipping. The massage itself was $55, but I was shown $60 at checkout due to a $5 credit card fee. Based on that, I said I would tip $12, which is about 22% of the actual service price. However, the front desk insisted that I tip $15 instead. They did not allow me to enter my own tip amount and proceeded to charge the higher tip. They also added an additional credit card fee on the tip itself (about $2.50), without giving the cash option. I want to be clear that I always tip at least 20% and am happy to tip more when service warrants it. My concern is not about tipping itself, but about being pressured and having the tip amount dictated rather than respected as my choice. This left me feeling uncomfortab

Paradise Spa is always so relaxing. Their massages are great and reasonably priced, and all the staff are very kind. The saunas are kept at the right temperature, making it really comfortable to stay and sweat. My favorite sauna here is the Hwangto room. It’s hard to describe, but it feels like a pool filled with small red clay balls (see my photos). It gets really hot, so you can sweat a lot in just 10 minutes – it saves time and feels amazing. The only downside is that their juice bar recently closed, which is a bit disappointing. But overall, because of everything else, I still give this place 5 stars.

We couldn’t make it to King Spa, so we decided to visit Paradise Spa and Sauna instead — and we’re so glad we did! The staff were amazing: welcoming, attentive, and very professional. The entire place was spotless, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. While they don’t have a restaurant on site like King Spa, that actually made the experience even better for us. The quiet atmosphere and soothing spa aromas created a truly relaxing environment without the distraction of food smells. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend Paradise Spa and Sauna for anyone seeking calm, cleanliness, and great service.

Do NOT go here. They lack professionalism! They will have you pay in full AND tip before your service. If you don’t tip or don’t tip “enough”, they’ll hold your ID hostage and will demand tips per service even if you tip 20-25% of your total. The experience was a 0/10. The massage, Korean scrub and foot scrub was not worth it and I’d never go back here.

I visited Paradise Spa yesterday during my trip to New Jersey, following a recommendation for a nearby relaxation spot. I'm immensely thankful for the wonderful experience I had. To begin with, Although the interior had an old-fashioned charm, it remained impeccably clean. The sauna area featured a diverse range of saunas and bathhouses, and I was especially thrilled to try the traditional Korean-style bathhouse. The water temperatures in both the bathhouses and sauna rooms were just right, creating a cozy and stress-relieving ambiance.
